On the embankment of the river IJssel flaunts a beautiful art centre called Het Kunstgemaal. Since we are showing a series of our art prints inside the idea was to create a connection between the inside and the outside of the building. We choose our cockatoo-artprint as the base for a mural at the galleries facade. In grey shade-like colors the tropical birds come to live in the Dutch landscape as if they have always belonged there, chirping between the large trees overlooking the dike and fields.
